We started by applying a sheet of fake homasote bricks to the door, to save the step of plotting out all the bricks.
Applied texture to the wall with joint compound to match the irregular nature of the existing brick.
Carved into the bead foam of the door itself to create the illusion of brick crumbling away.
Painted the door to match the tones in the existing brick.
The door on the left is my work and the wall on the right is the existing brick.
